My "everyday" aerobatic model is a Great Planes Sequence 120 pattern flyer. It's equipped with a GPS and full telemetry, which gives some interesting insights into how the plane is flying. The model is ARTF and extremely nicely built too – I only wish I had the patience and time to built models to such a high quality.

I'd like to introduce you to my 33% scale Ultimate biplane. I started building this model more than 20 years ago, around the time that large, petrol driven model aircraft engines were becoming popular. The kit was originally from Ohio R/C Models and engine is a Brison from Revolution Engines. However, life got in the way and the semi finished fuselage and wings have lain around the house for far to many years.

The DJI Mavic Pro is a marvel of technology that records breathtaking 4K video that is worth buying a 4K screen to view. But it should not really be seen as a model aircraft. Rather it is a flying camera that can do some amazing things.

In the late 90's I built a Goldberg Ultimate with a OS 120 four stroke engine. It was a beautiful aircraft that I flew for many years. At the time, I decided to buy a second kit to hold in reserve in case something nasty happened to the original. Indeed, the original model was destroyed when a I caught a wing tip in the tops of a corn field while performing a low knife edge pass.

In an attempt to learn something about drone racing, I bought an Align MR25 race drone a little while ago, along with a Fatshark Dominator V3 FPV headset. This drone is a lot of fun, but not a serious competitor for drone racing.

Op 3 tot en met 5 juni 2017 hebben we op het modelvliegterrein van BLC Tilburg het Europees kampioenschap paraspringen georganiseerd. Het vergde wat voorbereidingstijd waar we als bestuur toch wel en klein jaar voor hebben uitgetrokken. Het was de 22 keer dat deze wedstrijd werd georganiseerd, voor ons land de 1ste dus in het draaiboek had nog niet veel ervaring.
